Carmelo and La La Anthony are reportedly separated, living in separate homes

At the beginning of April, Clippers shooting guard J.J. Redick spoke to Sporting News about a number of subjects, including how his team viewed its championship window. His answer to the question put into perspective just how cruel the postseason has been to the Clippers.

We think, as long as we have this roster, we are capable and have the potential to (win a championship), Redick said. Last year, we had injuries in the playoffs. The year before, we blew a 3-1 lead, but nobody talks about the fact that (Clippers point guard) Chris (Paul) missed the first two games of that series because of a hamstring injury. We had to deal with the (former Clippers owner Donald) Sterling mess the year before.

I don’t know if it’s the Clippers’ curse or whatever, but we’ve had to deal with a lot at a bad time. For our group, we look at this postseason as another potential championship. That’s how we’re looking at it. First thing’s first: we need to get out of the first round.

It’s been a rough season for Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony, and the turmoil has reportedly taken a toll on his personal life.

According to TMZ, Anthony and his wife La La have separated, as La La has moved to a different home in New York.

The report states that the split was amicable, but that the current NBA season has been extremely stressful on the marriage for several months. It also stated that Carmelo and La La are still on good terms, both appearing at their son Kiyan’s basketball game.

Based on recent comments by Knicks president Phil Jackson, it seems likely Anthony will be on the trade block this offseason, though it should be noted Anthony’s no-trade clause is a huge roadblock to any potential deal.

The couple, who got married in 2010, reportedly have no Cheap Girls Softball Jerseys plans Cheap Germany Soccer Jerseys for divorce, instead seeming content for the time with separation.
