Browns’ Myles Garrett reportedly ‘ready to go’ after injury

The Browns got a scare when Myles Garrett suffered a foot injury in June, but the No. 1 overall pick is reportedly ready to go, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Garrett suffered the injury during Browns mini-camp on June 20 and has since been rehabbing to bounce back and get ready to participate in the preseason, which starts Aug. 10 at 8 p.m. ET when the Browns take on the Saints.

In addition to learning of Garrett’s health, Jackson also announced quarterback Cody Kessler would be taking the first snaps of training camp. Brock Osweiler and DeShone Kizer will also be taking snaps this preseason for the Browns as well.

Kessler played in nine games last season while starting eight. He threw for 1,380 and six touchdowns to just two interceptions.

Analysis (Gatto): Baltimore will be very popular the next 12 days now that team owner Peter Angelos has, per Rosenthal, given GM Dan Duquette Cheap Jarome Iginla Jerseys his blessing to shop the likes of Zach Britton, Brad Brach and Darren O’Day. Oh, and outfielder Seth Smith is available, too. The pitchers, of course, are the main attraction. All three are late-inning prizes, in particular Britton, the All-Star closer who is back from an elbow injury. There was immediate speculation that the Dodgers and Cubs would be big bidders for Britton. Will Angelos allow Duquette to actually make a move if Cheap Jerseys And Snapbacks a deal is agreed upon? Ehhhhh . . .
